Pongal was celebrated at ABS Group of Schools on 11th January 2019 with much gusto and enthusiasm. The day started with invocation to the almighty. The melodious tunes filled the air with joy and festivity. Speeches in English, Tamil and Hindi highlighting the importance of the festival by the students. Melodious rendition of song spreads the divine grace of the celebration. Sweet pongal was cooked and distributed to all the students.
Parent Carnival was one of the benchmark of all the events. Various Competitions were held for the parents like Rangoli, Pot Painting, Embroidery, Dumb charades, Wealth from waste, Mehendhi, Patti mandram, Extempore, Cookery etc. The prize winners were awarded with Gold coin. It was a memorable and a joyful occasion.
